When a Refund May Be Available
A refund may be available when a verified booking does not match the listing in a material way, such as the wrong room type, major access issues, or missing key amenities promised on the booking page.
Eligibility depends on the specific listing terms, payment flow, inspection window, and the evidence you provide during review.
Inspection and Reporting Window
If your booking includes an inspection or move-in confirmation window, you must report the issue within that window to remain eligible for review.
Late reports, incomplete evidence, or use of the property after acceptance may reduce or remove refund eligibility.
What You Need to Provide
You should provide photos, videos, timestamps, message history, and a clear explanation of what did not match the listing or booking terms.
Cribnect may request extra documents or speak with both parties before deciding whether a full refund, partial refund, or no refund applies.
When Refunds Are Not Usually Available
Refunds are not usually available for change-of-mind requests after acceptance, issues that were clearly disclosed before payment, or delays caused by missing user information.
Service fees may also be non-refundable where payment providers or third-party processing costs have already been incurred, unless the applicable booking terms say otherwise.
How Refund Timing Works
Approved refunds are sent back through the original payment method or another agreed method allowed by the payment provider.
Final timing depends on the payment rail, bank processing times, and any fraud or compliance review required before release.
